Hello Everyone.
The following are the items discussed at the previous E-Board meeting.
FINANCE
As previously known, we will have a budget of only 2500 dollars for our banquet.
It was noted that we will appeal and ask for more money come the next finance committee hearing.
The person to contact on this will be Kevin Arnold, President of Finance Board
However due to this fact, we will be highly considering having the Banquet on Campus.
Website
Our website will be undergoing an upgrade. With approval from our webmaster, it was decided that the website will now feature a more interactive front page. It will also allow us to upload our resumes as well as have special bulletins for distinguished members, organizations, corporations, persons, ect.

SHPE Conference Sponsorship
As far as SHPE Sponsorship is concerned we will work hard to maintain ourselves in good relations with our current sponsors (i.e. Exelon, CMC, OMSS, and Student Activities.
I will be formally thanking our sponsors promptly.
For next year we hope to have as much or more sponsorship for the National SHPE Conference.
To do so we will look into our respective Departments (i.e. CAE, MMAE, ECE, ect.)
SHPE IIT
As you all may know, Raul is currently working on getting everything necessary to get the SHPE chapter revived. He will need all the help he can get so, if possible, contact him at rvasque@iit.edu for updates and dates to come.
CHAPA WALKATHON
It has been decided that the date for the CHAPA Walkathon will be on April 4th.
This is subject to change as we notify Diana Sandoval and other respective parties.
BANQUET
As for the Banquet, it has been decided that the date for it will be on April 25th.
As previously mentioned we will be looking into having it on campus. Possibly in the HUB Ballroom.
Having it there will allow us to have a PowerPoint slide show running and an actual podium for the Master of Ceremony and respective speakers.

Note: As far as priority goes, Banquet hall and food, speaker, theme, and invitations are of essence.
Also I introduced the Ambassador of the Year Award. It is an award that will be given to a person, organization, or company that has aided us considerably this year. It is a way to give back to those that help us as well as strengthen our ties with our external aids. Also, we believe it to be more a reason for external entities to aid us as we award those who do so, which is in turn a great thing for them to attain.
Leadership Seminars
I mentioned that for those that it applies, I would most definitely like to see you guys attend these seminars as they hopefully become available next semester.

However, for the time being we will concentrate on our 1st. General meeting and Student org Fair.
