Description:

In response to the need of a financial aid education product that will appeal to the young audience, CollegePursuit - the first computer game specifically intended to teach financial aid concepts. The primary goal of CollegePursuit is to educate prospective college students and their parents about the problems related to financing a college education and the best ways to solve them.

Gameplay:

The game simulates the pre-college experiences of a prospective student. The goal of the player is to accumulate enough funds to finance at least the first year of a selected college's tuition costs. To gather the necessary funds, the player is assisted by special characters in the game, which simulate real-world advisors and situations: The player visits school counselors, financial aid offices, and bank representatives and applies for various sources of financial aid - scholarships, grants, and loans.
