This is an exciting time for our community as we refine our governing documents and adjust our organizational structure. Our hope is that these changes will help Greek Council achieve a higher level of operations and be able to more effectively serve the community we represent. This process is driven by a motion to restructure of our Constitution and Bylaws. This motion accomplishes three major goals:
New Executive Board!
The Executive Board will now consist of President, Vice President of Community, Vice President of Recruitment, Vice President of Education, Vice President of Finance, and Vice President of Communications
Consolidating Governing Documents
The Rush Rules and the Judicial Bylaws are now a part of our main Greek Council Bylaws
General Clean-up
Much of the confusing terminology in our governing documents has been resolved, some ambiguities have been made more clear, and some formatted has taken place to make things easier to read and interpret. Special attention was paid to making these changes without changing the policies of Greek Council.
Attached to this story is the actual motion, and the resulting Constitution and Bylaws of the Greek Council.
